The Sony SAS-BD3 is a state of the art Satellite mini dish system that is very user friendly and simple to operate. When used in combination with many of the satellite programming providers it delivers superb picture and digital sound quality for a very small price. It has a dual output LNB that allows you to receive a separate signal for two independent converter boxes. This feature comes in real handy when you and your spouse or kids don't want to watch the same program that comes on at the same time. I use my Sony SAS-BD3 with the directv total choice package. The dish and converter have given me faithful service for well over a year and a half now with no problems. It has much more benefits than cable because the dish receives a digital quality signal and the converter turns this into an analog signal for you t.v. to process.
As you can imagine the technology used in this system is already HDTV
ready. I also enjoy being able to listen to over 30 digital music channels in stereo. Try doing that on your local cable!
