Hi,
I have the California 600 plan as well. With all the taxes and stuff, it adds up to about $95/month for me. However, I use my cellphone as my home phone (I don't have a home phone), so I get dinged for the 1 minute it takes to retrieve my messages as well.
The contract for 1 year sucks too, because it got reset on me when I switched from the California 300 to the California 600, which seemed a bit crazy, since I'm still using a Cellone plan!
