I’ve been using Siemens M 35i for 5 months now and I am very satisfied with it. I have the yellow one and I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. Although I wanted to buy another model (C 35i) in the first place, when i saw how the M 35i looks like, I couldn’t resist buying it. Several people told me it was the most beautiful cell phone they ever saw. It is small, light and ergonomic. It is easy to fit into pockets (it doesn’t have the antenna to get stuck in them when you need to answer the phone quickly).

The NiMH battery has stand-by time around 90 hours. I need to recharge it every 4 days or so. I think that is good result for this category of cell phones.

The phone comes with the WAP browser, which i don’t use a lot, but this is one of the cheapest phones on the market with WAP. I have only a remark on a display that is too small for WAP browsing (5 lines, but 4 effective).

I have a small remark on a font used also. It is just too small. When you have a call, there is one bigger graphic in the middle of the display and beneath it with very small font written who is calling, so you need to put the phone really close to see who is calling.
Siemens M 35i also has a T9 SMS intelligent typing software that makes easier writing messages as long as you are writing them in English. It is useless for other languages.

It has also four games which i found boring all four and some of them complicated as well. While my friends that use Nokia are challenging who is going to make more points with “Snake”, i cannot understand how to play half of my cell phone games.

This model is special because it is shock, water and dust resistant. Because of that some parts of the phone are in rubber. It prevents anything to get into the phone and makes the phone less slippery (it can stand on a main board in a car and it won’t fall down in curves). But the yellow rubber part on the back gets dirty very quickly.

Overall, i would recommend this phone to others in spite of these few drawbacks because it serves me good and I like it a lot. Sound is good and clear, although that depends on a GSM provider.
