I highly recommend this sound system. With its excellent clarity and refined sound quality, this system is one of the best Sony products one could buy. I bought mine two months ago for $1,150. I am in my car a lot so I must have a quality sound system. I was not let down. Everything about this product is unbeatable. I have not scoped out the competition in this price range but I can say that my car stereo sounds better than my home stereo. Anyone who is in the market for a good, well-built CD deck, this is one to buy, if you can afford its hefty price.
