| setzergab's Full Review: Nokia 3210 GSM Cellular Phone |
People have been pestering me to get a mobile phone for ages now... and I can't say that there hasn't been times where I was out in the middle of nowhere with no payphone in sight and a desperate need to get in contact with someone. This phone is a really great one for individuals as it has many many customisible features... so it's not just any phone.. it really feels like your phone.
For example you can buy interchangable "xpress on/off" fascias to customise the look of the phone, 40 ring tones (38 standard, 1 tone which you can receive from other users, and one you compose yourself), personalised start-up message, picture messaging to other 3210 users, and a few other things like custom icons which you can request from various websites like the www.club.nokia.co.uk and iobox.com. In addition to the personalisation in the features, it also features 3 games: Snake, Memory and Rotation, which aren't groundbreaking but are fun and do pass the time while your waiting on a friend say.
With all these features, it could be described as a very "fun" phone, but that doesn't mean that there isn't some serious technical behind it's excellent performance. It is a GSM dual band digital phone, capable of selecting the strongest network if you have a choice, and the call quality is crystal clear. It can hold 90 names & numbers in your phone book, and automatically receive daily information such as share prices or news. It supports SMS text messaging between all the networks and for the security conscious it can be locked with pin and security codes to prevent unauthorised use. The one thing it can't do is exploit the new WAP/mobile internet sites, but nokia do offer phones that can do this, further up the range.
In all this phone is a high quality phone for both personal and business use and plus at the moment in the UK, various networks are offering them for free, if you sign up for a 12 month contract on one of their talkplans. I really would recommend this phone to all mobile users - especially those with a sense of strong individuality which this phone caters for perfectly.
Recommended:
