Dish is offering to upgrade the Dishplayer 7100 to a 7200 model with twice the hard drive capacity for $149.00. While this sounds tempting, pay attention to the details.

1. The 7200 model is a refurbished unit.
2. The 30 minute live tv pause is removed from this unit. It is only
available with subscription to Personal TV service.
3. The 7 day tv listing service is reduced to 2 days unless you
subscribe to Personal TV service.

In my opinion, this is not a very good deal. Especially for those that don't already subscribe to Personal TV. I really like the Live TV Pause feature and that is one of the main reasons that I chose Dishplayer over the other receiver offerings.
