This is a great little camcorder for the money. It was only recently available in my area, as Sears has just recently began to sell them.
You can't beat this camera for the money. It has 16x zoom with 320x digital capability. Several ready-made titles are built in, along with an impressive amount of special effects with a demo mode to astound you.
The battery is not of the longest duration, but the charger does have a feature to completely discharge the battery before recharging, thereby eliminating what is known as a battery memory or need to recharge after a short use.
This camera is very light and extremely easy to use. The only drawback is the black & white viewfinder and the lack of picture stabilization, which is only a problem if you have shaky hands, but for the money, who can complain. You can get these features with very little more money to advance in models.
The warranty is 90 days parts & labor and 1 year parts. They must be fairly reliable because the extended warranty was about 1/3 the price of the other brands of camcorders that the store sold.
