| midknightrydr's Full Review: EchoStar 2710 Digital Satellite System |
I have had the Dish Network at home for over a year now, and I have been very pleased with my dual dish setup. The picture and sound quality cannot be rivaled by cable TV. Also, I love the feature to scroll through program listings, instead of sitting there watching a self-scrolling program listing, such as regular cable TV has. As far as ease of use, you really can't ask for anything more, anything easier would require a hired professional standing next to you with the remote in hand changing channels as you bark orders to him on what you want to watch. The remote itself uses a radio frequency, which is very helpful if you have your dish setup for more than one television in a different room, like I do. I have a television set in my bedroom, and the main television with the receiver box is in the living room. I can use the remote while in my bedroom to change channels and order pay-per-view movies even though I'm about 100 feet away from the receiver in a different room. In short, I find no reason why anyone looking to more programming, at a good price, and high quality/user friendliness, shouldn't choose this product. Kudos to Dish Network!
