KD-SX900 - Great predecessor to the 940!

This is a discontinued system but it is very similar to the KD-SX940. I highly recommend it! It gives great sound, even though that's expected with all these higher-end systems. The speakers and amplifiers on your system (if any) will tell more about your sound. I had factory speakers and no amplifier (I'm poor!) and I still had pretty good sound at lower levels.
The interface for this system is fantastic! The easily moving knob gives fantastic easy volume control (as well as bass control, etc). The interface is not complex at all; you'll understand how to use everything on the system in minutes. It's very easy (one touch) to switch between CD, CD changer, and radio tuner.
The buttons are big, which is important while you're driving, but not big enough to look funny. The system looks great, but does not blend in with the rest of your dash. This may be a pro or a con for you. The bright colors (which can be dimmed, but are still eye-catching) make everyone in the car know it's there.
There's a remote control too, which is nice, but I almost never use it. It's good for people in the backseat but then you (the driver) won't have complete control of it! It's still a nice novelty.
I also have a minor problem now that I've used it for a while. You open the face to eject a CD (you flip open the entire face to insert or eject a CD, which is nicer than systems where you insert the CD into the face, so you get a larger easier-to-use display). After several months of using the system sometimes CD's don't eject all the way. They come out maybe 1/3 of the way out. It doesn't interfere with functionality, and I've never had a CD stuck in there, but it makes it look funny and broken. I still love this system after having it for over a year. I highly recommend it!
