When the cassette player in my truck decided to fry I replaced it with a Sony CD player. I chose a Sony because I have always trusted Sony products and I liked several of the features this unit offered. This one has the detachable front panel so you can take it out to thwart off theft. It came with a nice hardside case to help prevent any damage from being tossed around in my purse also.

The radio has 18FM and 6AM preset buttons and has the Bass Boost feature. If there is too much bass in one song I can lower the bass or turn it off completely. The treble and Bass settings are separate also. The CD player has a repeat setting that will repeat a particular song of your choice or shuffle play that will randomly play different songs.

The one and only negative thought I have about this Cd player is that during daylight hours if it is very bright outside it makes it difficult at times to see the LED readout. Other than that I have had no problems with this model at all.
