Did you know?
That if you buy an item from a CellularOne dealer,,,that you have to go back to the exact place of purchase to return it? Why yes you do!
I bought a cellphone for my son and he did not want the face plate that went with it. The face plate cost me $18.90. So I took it back to the place I bought it.
I had a receipt and I was still turned away. The obnoxious young man in the booth told me:
1) You need to take that back to the person that sold it to you.
2) No, I don't know where he works now.
3) No, I will not make a call to find out. It is not my responsibilty.
4) For all I know lady, you stole that face plate and made that receipt.
FUNNY
My receipt looked just like the one in his little book that he was fiddling with. And NO I didn't steal the face plate.
He was rude and obnoxious. I even explained to him that my son did not want the face plate, but that he would be 18 in June and would want service. He told me there was no way he would take the return. He insisted that I needed to find the man that sold me the face plate. How in the Heck am I supposed to do that?
So, I went to 3 more CellularOne dealers and got the same story from all of them. Then I went home and I called the corporate offices. The woman there told me (after making several phone calls) that he did indeed need to take the face plate back. That you have to go back to the booth you bought it from , not the person.
Well the booth happened to be (Thank Goodness) in a Walmart. So, I went back there and told the young Jerk exactly what the customer service person told me on the phone. He said he didn't really care and that I should please get away from his booth.
So, I went to the Walmart manager to ask for the Walmart corporate office number. I figure I would just convince them to remove the booth. Big hopes here! LOL
Guess what!?
The Walmart manager went over to the jerk with me. He asked him if he accused me of stealing. The jerk said "Yeah, I did...so?"
The manager tried very hard to convince him that he was wrong...that didn't work. He then proceeded to get angry and tell him that he was mean and basically a jerk! LOL
Then he gave me my money from his pocket!!!! Yes he did that!
He is going to the Walmart Corp. and asking that the booth be removed because this is not the first time this has happened here!
Wooo Hoooo WALMART!!! THANK YOU
I just wanted you to know that. If you ever go to buy anything from CellularOne, Yes you go back to the booth, not the person to make returns. The Corporate office was helpful, but the individual salesperson has a lot to learn.
