As a junky for homemade film, I highly recommend this camera to you. There are a few things you as a consumer should know before you expect to use this camera at it's full potential (such as the expensive Jlip adapter used to connect your pc to the camera through the serial port, or the need for a graphics card that will enable you to dump the video at the good quality digital footage is supposed to have), but besides that, the Jvc Cybercams have proven to be the best in quality for the price.
Using the Jlip inputs, this camera has special equipment to dump your footage (whether it be Family film or homemade movie) into your computers serial ports. This camera has all of the needs for digital editing through it's Audio video, S-out, and JLIP outputs. The playback features are superb because you can use the Lcd screen to see a larger version of your fresh footage in color!
