Oh How I Love Thee
Oct 12 '00
I received my Nokia 5160 about a year ago. It seemed to be the smart thing to do considering I am a young female with a car. Now I can't see myself without my beloved phone. Nokia has given me a reliable phone.
I love this thing. Not only can you change the ring from Mozart to something more fun like "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," but you can also change the covering. I have seen every type of face for the Nokia phones from Disney characters to glow in the dark.
Now I know that everything I just raved about is irrelevant to the concerned parent. So, here's my more mature viewpoint of Nokia phones. The number 9 has a special feature that if you hold it down it will automatically call 911. Also, you can lock up your phone so if you allow someone else to use it they can be restricted from incoming or outcoming calls. Another wonderful feature is "Keyguard" which locks your keys so if they are pressed the phone won't respond. This is wonderful if you keep the phone in your purse!
And who hates those annoying people who receive phone calls in the middle of a movie theater? Well, Nokia gives the consumer a choice between different rings. They can make the ring quieter or silent. The silent feature turns off the ring but still lights up the phone when receiving an incoming call.
Nokia has put in so much effort to make this phone user friendly. This company really has the consumer in mind. No matter what Nokia phone you buy, I can assure you that you will be satisfied.
