Sony has definitely hit the big one with this. Directv just adds to the great product. It comes with an easy to use remote control, great satellite service, and great reception. Although it might be a little steep for some, it is definitely worth it.
The remote control is sleek enough to hold in your hand, but large enough not to loose. It comes with great buttons that can definitely be memorized in a flash. Quick access to guides, favorites, and more add the interactivity to the product more than you could expect. The remote is about an inch or so wide by about four or five inches tall. There are controls for the TV, VCR, DSS, and a few others. There are green buttons on the top for easy power down & up of your other appliances.
Directv has premiere channels. Nickelodeon, MTV, Noggin, TNN, ZDTV, and much more. Directv has a large bulk of channels and products to use. See is a "TV Guide-Like" magazine that you can subscribe to from the satellite! Directv also brings you pay per view channels. Their Pay-Per-View system takes the cake. By simply selecting the channel you can purchase it without calling a single person! And with a very cheap price, 2.99, you can watch what movie you want. Each movie has many stations to choose from so you can watch it at most any time. And with the All Day Ticket you can buy it once and watch it as many times as you want until 6:00 AM EST.
And the reception is one of the best features of the Satellite system. Unless it is raining you are going to see great quality digital television! The price for a month of Directv is $30. Which is about what you would pay for Cable!
