| rhainest's Full Review: Hughes Networks D1132 Single LNB DIRECTV System |
This Hughes system is by far the best that I've owned personally and have installed for other people. The ease of operation is second to none. By this I mean that the remote control is very user friendly. You can program it to do just about anything! Program the remote to store all your favorite movies and sports. Another thing that I love about this unit is the way the onscreen display is set up. It is easily read and easy to understand. Ease of operation of this feature is a BIG PLUS! As compared to RCA brands, ease of operation is NOT one of their features. Especially when it comes to pushing buttons on the remote control to find something.. Now one of the only things that I don't like about Hughes systems is that you have to somethimes reset the unit. I have no idea why this happens to Hughes and doesn't happen to the RCA units. It can be annoying at times. But, this is a small price to pay for something that has a big plus with ease of operation.
Who should buy this product? Anyone looking for a quality product at a reasonable price. And it can be serviced in the field if out of warranty.
Most all of the RCA brands need to be sent back to the factory and the unit you send up is not the one you will recieve back. And that is also true for warranty Hughes units. Reason for that is because they don't want us (as directtv) subscribers to go without to long. This is good, as the best programing in the universe is Direct-TV.
