I bought these speakers because they are the best sounding bookshelf speakers around. I was considering buying the CDM-NT floor standing speakers but these 805's totally blow the best NT line speakers away for the same price.

The soundstage for these speakers are incredible. The depth is warm and quite noticable compared to other speakers. They were a little bright initially taking them out of the box, but after the break-in period (about a month of continuous play) they are very inviting.

These speakers can be set up conventionally or be bi-wired. They also come with two spade cables to connect to each of the four terminals in the case where you are not bi-wiring. So many times you buy something and have to run back out to the store to buy another cable, etc.. Not the case with B&W.

I find these to be a tremendous value and great sound in such a small speaker. I challenge anyone to choose another bookshelf speaker that would beat the sound of the Nautilus 805's.

One problem is with the speaker stands. The B&W stands are very expensive. One can buy other stands for less money or make custom stands. I'm going with the latter.
