Pros:Minimal dropped calls, Space conscience design, Variety in personalization options.
Cons:None that I have found yet
I received this phone as a perk for buying a service plan (in other words free but I think I definately lucked out!!) after a call from a local mobile phone dealer. I wasn't to sure about getting it but they made me an offer I couldn't refuse so I said ok. Plus I had been wanting to get a cell phone for emergencies, just incase. Many people I know have different digital PCS phones and have had many problems with them (I won't even talk to some if they call me from their cell phone). I figured the extras that I got would make up for any problems that I would have. Well, three months later and I'm still waiting for a problem. I've only dropped two calls and have never run the battery down (and believe me, I can talk forever), I've talked on it for eighty-five minutes straight and at the end of the call it was only mildly warm and the battery had enough juice for another eighty-five minute call!! I've always gotten great reception in places where my friends can't get a call through on their phones. Boy does that make them mad!!
The slim design is ideal and fits in my purse, fanny-pack, or even my husband's back pocket. Yet it still feels like a phone in my hand and when I talk. I love everything about this phone and the only thing I hate about it, is that my husband takes it with him now wherever he goes. So we end up fighting over who gets to take the phone with them. I think anyone who wants a excellent quality digital PCS phone should buy this one.
I haven't tried the "piggy-back" battery yet because I haven't need to but it but I might get it for long trips or something. I've heard that it works great.
