Alpine CDM-7857 works for me =)

The stats:
Bass Engine, BBE Processor, CD Changer Control, 2 Color Display w/ Level Meter, Wireless Remote Control Ready, 2 PreOuts, Subwoofer Level Control
Bass Center Frequency Control, MaxTune Tuner, 40W x 4 Power Amplifier,
Regulated 1-Bit DAC, Anti-Theft Detachable Face
I have this head unit for about a week now and have really enjoyed it. It replaced a 3 year old Kenwood. I don't know if the technology has improved all the way around but the sound is much better with the new Alpine. The BBE is simply a more sophisticated "bass boost" type button. I never have it turned off. It matched my setup very well with the dual pre-outs (allowing you to connect 2 more amps). I don't have it hooked up to a CD changer and I don't have the available remote so I can't comment on them. The display is attractive and lets you toggle between green and amber as your back-light color. I think the green looks better even though my car's displays are in amber. Call me a rebel. This is the first Alpine product I have purchased and the price was right, only $249. I think it's a 2000 model. For the price and quality I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal.
