| icue304's Full Review: Sprint Mobile Phone Service in Los Angeles |
I purchased a Sprint Qualcom Internet PCS with the $50/500 plan. I use this phone primarily for my graphics business. One day I went to use my phone and it was disconneted. I promplty went to the nearest Sprint dealer and paid my phone bill.
The CSR told me that my service would be restored in as little as 4 hours to as much as 2 days. This didn't sound like very good news to me. I became especially upset when I decided to call my cell phone number and all I got was "The number you have reached has been disconnected."
Disconnected?!!!! It's not disconnected, just temporarily off line because I forgot to pay my bill! Then I thought about all my clients who have my cell phone number as of recent and may have tried to call me but only to receive the same lame message. How tacky, Sprint! Such a disconnect message makes me a professional business person look like a fly-by-night operation. WHY DOES SPRINT HAVE TO BE SO COLD AND ABRUPT? YOU CALL THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE? TRUE CUSTOMER SERICE WOULD BE ALLOWING MY VOICE MAILBOX TO REMAIN ACTIVE AND ACCESSIBLE FOR A 2 WEEK GRACE PERIOD MY CLIENTS WON'T GET THE WRONG IDEA. PCS CUSTOMERS PAY QUITE MUCH FOR QUALITY PHONE SERVICE.
SPRINT SHOULD BE MORE CONSIDERATE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS' IMAGE AND NEEDS.
I FEEL PCS OWNERS WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THIS CHANGE IN SERVICE.
THANKS
