Dish Network must be avoided at all costs!

I have had the dish network service for nine months and after continuous problems with the reception, customer service representatives, and actual lies from supervisors, I am doing everything I can to cancel the service and get as far from this company as possible.
I moved five months into the "contract" time frame and their installer was unable to secure a satellite signal at the new house. As I am building my home and would be in the new one in January, I called and was told that a temporary pause in service would be provided to me. One month went by and I received another bill for service. After a lengthy phone call, that was credited and I was again told that everything was fine. Two months went by and no bills came. Then a bill from a collection agency for the cost of the equipment provided to me in their "free" package. I contacted them again to remind them that we had suspended the service until January only to be told that that can't be done and that things spoken to me have no weight over the contract I signed. After relaying the entire episode to that persons supervisor, I was told that there was nothing she could do. She would rather stick with the letter of a contract than appease and KEEP a customer happy.
I will install a satellite service at my new home this January but it will not be Dish Network. I have never been so enraged that I would share my displeasure in such forum as this but this shoddy treatment deserves to be commented on and shared with others. I will be filing complaints with the BBB, State Corporation Commission, FTC, and the Consumer Protection Agency.
They are dishonest, disorganized, and should be avoided at all costs.
