| Treker's Full Review: Nextel Mobile Phone Service in Orlando |
During the summer of 1999 I worked for a car dealership and one of the things I did was deliver parts. In order for my supervisor to keep up with me or get in touch with me on the road they give me this cell phone but it wasn't an ordinary cell phone, it was a Nextel phone.
This phone was the clearest phone I had ever used. But the really cool feature about this phone was the two-way radio. I could be over a hundred miles away and the radio sounded crystal clear.
There are many price plans and there are very few dead zones( areas the service doesn't cover). The other great thing about these phones is they are durable, very durable. I saw one accidently get run over by a small pickup truck and it worked just fine. But I don't recommend you try this. The radio feature is free, well it is included in the cost of the plan I'm sure, but you don't pay for minutes.
