Pros: easy access to the single-loader, good sound, easy connection to receiver Cons: inputting titles is difficult,
That was the question someone asked me soon after I purchased this CD Jukebox. You see, I had CD holders stacked in my living room, holding more than 300 CDs in their cases. When my friend entered the house, that spot was cleared. I had chosen 280 ...
But for the user interface, this is a great machine. How can you beat 301 CD's? The Pioneer PD-F1007 (and its progeny) provides a good choice for ultra super-duper multi CD playing, with just a couple glitches.
Pros: single loader, great sound, and ease of use, not just a CD player Cons: some occasional jams and skips
Looking for a CD player, I wanted one that would hold more then 10. I recently researching the CD players, and here is one I think has a lot of bang for the buck.
The Pioneer PD-F1007 offers LED display, this will give you the disc...
Pros: Good price, good quality, 2 line display Cons: No keyboard input, tightly spaced remote buttons
The Pioneer PD-F1007 was my second "Mega-Changer". I used to own one of the first 200 disc changers put out by Kenwood, but I sold it so I could get this changer. I haven't been disappointed.
For starters, the player seems well...
Pros: capacity, great value Cons: no keyboard title input
Let me start by saying that if you are the type that revels in the differences between a $1000 CD player and a $10000 CD player, this is not the changer for you. But if you are looking for a value-oriented product that really delivers in the convenience...
Pros: Never get off your couch to change a cd Cons: Hokey interface (like all file-type players) makes it hard to manage and play cd's
The Pioneer PD-F1007 is a great way to organize and play CD's without ever having to get off the couch. It's pointless to have a remote for a single cd player, since you have to get up anyway each time you want to change the CD. But file-type CD...
Pros: Easy to set up, attractive, full-featured, link two and get a 600+ CD unit, good manual, really a lot of fun Cons: Control layout is non-intuitive
I was thrilled to buy the PD-F1007 as my first jukebox. I always wanted one. And this was great! It simply works very well, sets up easily, a must for a beginner.
I set up mine around dinner time and by that evening, I had gone through...
Pros: A great variety of options and a high quality player for so little cash Cons: takes up more space than a single or five disc player
When I first started looking for a cd player, I was looking more toward a single or five disc changer. However, when I went into the stores to check out the variety and prices, I fell in love with the 100+ cd changers. Now all I needed to decide was...
Pros: Easy to use, durable, relatively cheap, a joy to own and use Cons: the remote! that's about it!
I bought my beloved Pioneer PD-F1007 in the fall of '99 from the local branch of a large electronics store. At the time, it was listed as an "as-is" item that had apparently been returned or used as a floor model. It came without a box, but had the ...
Pros: Holds 300 cds, title display, random play Cons: occasional skip
When our first 200 disc cd player started skipping all the time and was in the shop and still was not fixed, my husband decided to buy me a new one. We decided we wanted a 300 disc since we had over 200 cds now. I am so glad we found this Pioneer. It...
Pros: Sound, 300 CD Capacity, Expansion Cons: Remote and User Interface
I bought the Pioneer because I got tired loading and unloading CDs into my CD-Player. Why not store ALL your cds in the player? Now, all my CDs are in the CD player, not on the shelf collecting dust. It's really fantastic to have all the CDs available in...
Pros: Excellent concept Cons: Frequent jams and repairs
I wanted one of these players for a long time and finally acquired a factory refurbished machine around Christmas time of '99. I unfortunately was unpacking from a move and did not get around to setting it up until the 90 day warranty had expired. I...
Pros: convenience, price, variety Cons: remote title entry
I love this changer. It is the single greatest piece of equipment I have ever owned. The ability to have all my cd's in one machine and be able to listen to them in order, in groups of favorites, at random as a whole (or random groups) is a dream come...
Pros: Ease of use, reads CD-R's, can connect two units. Cons: Random play only covers one unit at a time when two units are connected.
I own three PDF1007's. Have not had any problem with them in over two years of almost daily use. Two units are hooked together for a 600 disc capacity. The third unit is in my wife's pottery studio which is not the best environment for A/V equipment -...
Pros: Plays music Cons: Bad random play, Occasional jam-ups, Frequent loss of memory
I bought this 301 disc changer about 5 years ago for $450 and I've had nothing but trouble with it. In fact I took the first one back within the first week because it had jammed and exchanged it for a new one. That was a mistake - I should have just asked for my money back. For one thing, during random play (which I use often) it sometimes gets stuck searching for a song and I have to stop and restart it. Also, when a song is over it tends to play the first second of the next song on that disc before jumping on to another random disc. But the biggest problem is that after spending several days painstakingly entering all the titles and artists for each CD, every once in a while they all just mysteriously disappear. This has happened to me at least 3 times and I am sick of it! I'm so fed up with this piece of $#!@ I will never buy another Pioneer product again. I advise everyone here to heed my warning. If you buy this player, you're going to have a bad time.
