Pros: affordable, plays most of the CDs I put in it. Cons: nicks your CDs
When my last single CD player burned out a couple years ago and I went to the store to get a new one I was pretty surprised at some of the options out there. Whereas CD players had been high-ticket items a decade ago, I found that prices had really come ...

Inoperable After 14 Months
by jdiii ,Mar 27 '04
Pros: Woerked with my old Pioneer remote. Cons: It's broken!
I liked this player, but it gradually started malfuctioning over the last month and now will not play at all. It came with a one year warranty and of course I'm two months out of the warranty period.
Either I got a lemon or Pioneer just isn't making them like it used to. Since I paid only $113, I guess I'll treat it like a VCR, trash it, and try a Sony 5-disc changer. What a bummer.
