Details: Conceived as a four-way system, the Reference Series speakers work together to create sound reproduction of uncompromising realism. In order to realize excellent front staging, very high output and extraordinary power handling, the speaker system incorporates several new technologies and design approaches quite rare in car audio.

The XS-HS12 is a subwoofer optimized for extraordinary power handling and low frequency extension in small sealed enclosures. The 12" size is provided to match the space requirements of specific installations. To handle the enormous pressures generated by high outputs under these conditions, this model utilizes rigid, spun aluminum cones with high-density rubber surrounds and dual spider suspensions. Machine die-cast aluminum frames are utilized to insure structural rigidity, allowing the efficient transfer of energy from the motor assembly to the cone. Dual 2W voice coils allow this model to present an effective 1W load to the amplifier, yet maintain superior power dissipation.
