Pros: Fixes the problem. Cons: Have to ask Dish for the fix.
I own the Dishplayer 7100 and also use a JVC 4700 model in the house. I was experiencing interference on my 4700 receiver whenever the Dishplayer changed channels or when the hard-drive processed info. after being turned off. Heavy pixelization on the...

Pros: Innovative Satellite Receivers, Best Price On Programming, Plenty Of Channels To Choose From Cons: None
I have had my DishNetwork satellite system since 1997 and would not go back to cable if you paid me to. DishNetwork offers you more TV channels for your viewing pleasure at a more affordable price than other satellite company out there. I install...

Pros: Personal TV, Web TV, Good Price Cons: Small Hard Drive, Not the best remote control.
You can't beat this system for the price. I bought the DishPlayer from www.satellitedirect.com for only $49 last year. (The price has gone up a bit, but is still a great deal). Other Personal TV systems cost hundreds of dollars, a Web TV unit alone...

Pros: Personal TV, WebTV, Excellent channel selection. Cons: Had to be reset constantly, bad customer support, Price, goes out in the rain.
This reciever/satellite/WebTV combo had tons and tons of features for an attractive price. That is the main reason I bought it. It worked wonderfully for the first couple of months but then something must have happened.
Problems:

Pros: dont care about past, loyal customers Cons: good for new subscribers
I have been a Dish Network customer for over 2 years now and have been happy with their service. Yes, at times, their hold time on the phone is excessive, but I have been able to resolve any problems I have had.
The one think I don't like...

Pros: Large amount of features, Internet through WEbtv service Cons: cant download or view java sites on the internet
I bought this system in August of 99 for several reasons. First and foremost was the fact that i was simply tired of the cable channels, prices and options in my area and wanted to be able to view more channels at a reasonable price. This system has...

I was a DirecTV customer for two years before moving over to Dish Network and the Dishplayer 7100 system. I had been considering a Tivo or ReplayTV and thought the Dishplayer would be a good alternative to either of those products.
Let me...

Pros: get Satellite TV and WebTV in one box Cons: controls take a little getting used to if you upgrade from older box.
This is the newest EchoStar receiver availble from DishNetwork. This one includes everything that the lower versions included (except for the built in caller-id function) but adds WebTV to the mix.I upgraded to the 7100 during their special promotion...

I have been a dishnetwork user for about 2 years now and the dishplayer 7100 is there best idea yet. It is so fun and easy to use that sometimes it's more like a toy for me. The 7100 has excellent picture (cable tv can't come close as far as I've seen)...

Pros: Ease of recording Cons: Buggy software
Maybe I'm just generally unlucky but Dish network is sending me my third system as the first two have both died on me. Before you can get to the point where they send you a new receiver, you have to go through hours of the same old "fix" attempts by...

Pros: Larger hard drive Cons: Refurbished unit, loss of "free services".
Dish is offering to upgrade the Dishplayer 7100 to a 7200 model with twice the hard drive capacity for $149.00. While this sounds tempting, pay attention to the details.
1. The 7200 model is a refurbished unit.
2. The 30 minute live...
