Pros: great reception, lots of options Cons: need to be somewhat mechanically inclined to install
I believe we got a really great deal on our RCA direct t.v. dish and installation kit. It was 49.99 for the whole thing! The option was also to receive the entire movie package,($80), free for 2 months for signing up for the 29.99 package!

Pros: Great customer service, very good picture and sound quality. Cons: Picture freezes in some weather conditions
When our Dish Network system failed after only a year we decided to give DirecTV a try and we have not been sorry. The price was reasonable - free after rebate with a one year contract, installation was included and, 8 months later, we've had no problems ...

Pros: So many channels to choose from Cons: Sometimes you still can't find nothing to watch
WE bought our Very first Dish System In may of 99 and it has been the most used thing besides the TV that we have ever gotten. We live out in the Boonies and so not able to get many TV stations and when it was windy or the weather bad we had a...

Pros: low price compared to cable, you get more programming than with cable Cons: you can't get local channels without a seperate antenna
We bought the Direct TV satellite system because they bought out Primestar. I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought that nothing could ever compare to the service we had with the Primestar system. I was definately wrong.
You can...

Pros: Great reception, multiple customizable user-accounts Cons: can't think of any
Being in the military, I've had to live in various places and therefor have had the chance to subscribe to many different cable companies. It became quite evident that the channel options and program packages available were NOT standardized in any...

Pros: With a programmed card I get EVERY SINGLE CHANNEL! Cons: There are no cons when you've got free PPV movies starting every 30 min!
My cable company (AT&T Broadband) kept squeezing the number of basic cable channels in order to drive us to subscribe to their new Digital Cable. Once they removed the last PPV channel from the lineup I said enough is enough. I bought my DirecTV system...

Pros: Great picture, rearely goes down, affordable price Cons: gets hectic as the number of TVs go up
I specifically bought this model for my Dad as a Christmas present, and so far I have no complaints about the system. Before DirecTV, we were limited to just local channels via an antenna. The picture is extremely sharp and provides DVD quality picture....

Pros: Digital, Dolby, Variety, Price, Ease-of-Use Cons: Coordinates for Satellite
There are only three things certain in Mid-Missouri: death, taxes and rising cable prices. After our cable access rates for basic (38 channels) skyrocketed to $39.95 a month I decided that enough was enough. Our neighbors for some time...
