Pros: Size, Weight, FM Tuner. Online software upgrades. Cons: No onboard memory. Memory cards are very expensive.
When I researched the mp3 players I was looking for two primary features compact size and a FM tuner. The Nomad has them both and so much more. Having owned the Creative Nomad II for just over 6months I’m very happy with its operation.
Pros: It is very small and very easy to operate. It's software is quite user friendly. Cons: Creative Labs included a set of headphones that I did not care for.
When I was shopping for my first MP3 player, I was horrified to read some of the reviews. Many people seem to only review their dislikes. After I bought it, I suffered buyer's remorse until it arrived in the mail.
Pros: small, lightweight, remote, LCD display, USB Cons: remote lacks a few extra functions, pricey
I just bought the Nomad II last night and I found it to be a wonderful product, Creative has truly out done themselves this time with this unit. I was lucky enough to get the blue color version of the Nomad II which I believe looks better than the silver...
Pros: It's just the best out there Cons: Out of Stock in most dealers

Pros: Small, Funky, Delicious. Cons: Random play? What?
I bought my Creative Labs Nomad II MP3 player when they first hit the shelves way back in March/2000. I think I paid about $350 for it. Boy was that a good buy.
This think rocks the house. Don't even try to compare it to a Rio or a Yepp or...
The Nomad 2 MG is the best mp3 player out there. It is tiny yet so practical. The usb connection is super fast. I like how it supports long file names because not all of my mp3s have id3 tags. the casing is metal so it is not too fragile. I love the...
Pros: Great sound, smart design Cons: Poor FM reception, weak software
I have owned both a Nomad II and a Nomad II MG, and I am happy to report that this is one of the rare instances when a company’s less expensive product is better.
The MG has some useful features, but check my review under that product for my...
Pros: Good Player for price Cons: Need to get more memory,
I purchsed my Nomad back in December, and was supprised to see that they are still very close in price to what I paid for mine. I use this MP3 Player every day, and have never had a problem with it.
Pros: Great quality sound, Style/design is amazing, Ready out of the box WMA format, Voice recording Cons: Included headphones are junk
The Nomad II MG:

Pros: Software=Good Cons: Nothing specifically wrong with it
I should begin this review by saying that I am highly skeptical about the current state of portable MP3 players in general, having personally tried 3 before settling for this product (see my reviews of Sony's Network Walkman (nw-e3) and the Nomad II MG)....
Pros: fits in hand, long battery life, easy to use Cons: customer service
this product was really easy to use. i enjoyed waking up in the morning and being able to listen to about 25 songs and how it fits in to your pocket. The sound of it is pretty good and the ease of use is really easy. Also, you can use it as a recorder...
Pros: Amazing packaging, functionality and robustness. Great sound and features. Easily extensible, cheap memory. Cons: Dreadful headphones.
I bought the Nomad II MG a week ago, after EXTENSIVE research. I read everything on the web and in print, and tried out over a half-dozen in the stores. The II MG wasn't the cheapest, but it seemed to me to offer the best value.
Pros: Feature packed and easy to live with. Cons: A little expensive - but worth it!
After doing extensive research on MP3 players I purchased the RIO 600 - after 3 days, it started to lock-up and the backlight stopped working. After returning the RIO - I found the Nomad II at a local retailer - what a difference! Plus you can't beat...
