Pros: Nice webmail interface, tight virus integration, real time activity display. Support is improving. Cons: A few real suprising flaws as noted in review update.
MDaemon is the third mail server I've tried, since starting with iMail and then Mailsite. I really didn't like the iMail interface and that's what prompted the move to Mailsite. However Mailsite was a source of constant frustration to me with its cryptic...

Pros: None, relative to other MTAs Cons: Interface is very poor
I've worked closely with six or seven mail servers over 10 years, and MDaemon is the most frustrating to use. It might work ok in a simple environment with one domain and a small number of email addresses, but the interface does not scale well, and some ...

If it has to be Windows then I would recommend IMail Server 7.0 form Ipswich...

Pros: Inexpensive & Easy to use - no crashes! Cons: You can't purchase a CD, but you can burn your own.
MDaemon is working out wonderfully! It is good to be finally hosting our own email. Previously, we were having A LOT of problems with our provider. Because of this, I was given the task of choosing and installing an email server on-site for my company...

Pros: easy and has options for just about everything Cons: only runs on Windows OS's
I have been working with MDaemon for a little over a year now and the entire experience has been great. I started out knowing nothing about mailservers but was able to install and configure MDaemon without a problem. I was up and running with my own...
