When we got our first Magnia 3030 in, I was wondering where the rest of it was. After over a year of the "larger" Magnia machines that Toshiba had been shipping, the slimmer style was a bit of a shock!
However, once we got things up and running, I found out that not only was everything in there, but there was more than ever before!
There are so many options available for this machine that it's hard to come up with anything that it won't handle. With 6 hot-swap drive bays, the capability of handling a tape drive, two processors, 2Gigs of RAM and lots more....
We've got about 30 of these units deployed now, doing everything from databases to engineering (we do software here) development and compiling. I haven't seen a single problem with any of these since we've gotten them in.
It also comes in both rack and pedestal configurations, which will fit anywhere you need it to. If you need a good mid-sized server (well, it'll also do wonderfully for a small server as well :) ), then definitely look into one of these.
