Shopping is fine. Contacting anyone on the phone is an absolute pain. I had a shipment that was damaged. I called. I was on hold for 10 minutes. Transferred, hung up. Called again, same thing. This went on for over an hour. I will never do business with these people ever again. This is the first time I've had such a bad experience online.

eofficedirect.com is terrible. Received damaged merchandise twice on the same item. It is difficult to get them to answer the phone. When they do answer you are either cut-off or placed on hold for an endless period of time. The Director of Operations for eofficedirect.com needs to take a basic business course and a seminar on customer service. Their answer to customer service is; “We are excellent just read the reviews on our website; but we can refund your money.” Give me a break. I wish there were lower ratings as eofficedirect.com should re-evaluate their business. Don’t be fooled the reason eofficedirect.com can offer such low prices is that they sell damaged, blemished, or second-hand goods. First cabinet had the top drawer smashed in; second cabinet had a huge dent on the front left corner. Both cabinets appear to have been repacked as there was no damage on the outer packing. The claims made on the website of eofficedirect.com are not true. Buy your office items somewhere else besides eofficedirect.com, you will spend a few more dollars, but the service and product quality will meet your expectations. Again, give me a break.

I would have to say that I have mixed emotions about this one. With their great prices and free shipping, I saved over $150 by buying here in lieu of the local office furniture store, but it ended up costing me time and irritation in the long run.

I ordered an office desk which took six days to arrive from the warehouse three hours down the road. When it finally got here, it was severely damaged. I called customer service who quickly responded, told me to refuse delivery, and instantly issued a reorder.

Four days later, another desk arrived. Everything looked fine until I opened the shipping carton and noticed a couple of pretty good dings.

Either this company sells scratch-n-dent (which would explain the great prices) or they need a new freight company.
