Pros: Kept the wine cool when it worked Cons: Failed in one year. Warranty leaves when you open the unit to determine what failed.
My builder purchased a Breezaire WKE 6000 from IWA in May 2004. (SN 4058005E) I moved my wine and belongings into my new home October 7, 2004. I have a 1500 bottle wine room. The unit though oversized per Breezaire specs, ran overtime for the ...

BreezeAire Units
by steveabb ,Nov 21 '05
Pros: Can't think of one. Seriously. Cons: Lasted only one year. Couldn't be serviced. A complete bust and hunk of junk.
I hated this thing. It was expensive and lasted BARELY more than a year which was - of course - just long enough to be out of warranty. I tried in vain for months to get this unit fixed, but it had a sealed case and could not be worked on locally. Calls to the company were frustrating and offered no solutions. I finally put this unit out to the trash and bought a competing brand (Vintage Keeper) as a replacement. My advice is buy a Vintage Keeper and find fun/nice to do with the $200 you will pocket by doing so.
Honestly, BreezeAire was one of the most disappointing/frustrating purchases I have made in YEARS.

WKE8000
by garyrauh ,Apr 28 '05
Pros: Worked well for 4 years Cons: Broke & will cost several hundred $$ to fix including shipping both ways ($240).
Just over 4 years after purchase the unit froze up, it's practically unserviceable by an air conditioning service so must be sent to the factory, warranty only covers parts.
