Come With Me, to the Vaults...
by beerfly | May 17 '00
We waited, expectantly, reverently, for the beer to pour. The journey it had begun over 3,000 miles and twenty-six years ago was almost over; the journey from mash-tun to mouth. Carefully the bottle was tipped, and the walnut-brown liquid streamed...

Hmmmm, hadn't really thought about that. Probably not, don't like plugging things in MA, but I might mention it in Ale Street News. Shoula woulda coulda thought of that myself, eh? Thanks for the idea!

You have outdone yourself. If this were longer it would make a good MA article. By the way are you going to mention Epinions in any future MA editions.

It's not willpower, I'm just a natural hoarder. It pains me to take out one of these aged ones and actually drink it! As for the chilled thing... The people at Siebel told me that as long as the beer is allowed to warm slowly, and doesn't cycle (cold/warm/cold/warm), going from cold to warm once doesn't really hurt. Cycling will age the beer quickly.

I have to admit I am not a beer drinker, but you made these sound wonderful, I am going to have to expand my horizons! Maybe it is because everyone around here is a Bud fan. LOL Thanks for all of the wonderful information.

Thanks, and gee, you don't know what you're missing! That 1968 Hardy's, for instance; everyone in the room agreed that it tasted unlike ANYHING they'd ever had before, beer or not. Hey, who knows what you might like?
Thanks again!
