The perfect wine tourApr 18 '00 Write an essay on this topic. One rainy afternoon, some close friends of mine and I took a tour up to Napa Valley for a trip to the wineries. We found ourselves at the oldest winery in Sonoma and Napa Valley. The winery was called Buena Vista cellars. With the rain in the air and the wonderful atmosphere of an mid 19th century mission style vineyard and one of the friendliest welcomes I've had in years, Buena Vista cellars is by far one of the best wineries to visit. I have to admit that the wine was not my favorite, but you can pay extra for a taste of one of their special reserves like a 1984 Cabernet or a variety of specialties, which was some of the tastiest wine I've had. Unlike most of the other wineries we encountered on that trip, it was barely busy and the employees greeted us with the warmest smiles, jokes, and laughter. I highly recommend Buena Vista cellars, and hope you can experience it too. |
