Table wines may also be sweet or dry.Table wines make up a vast majority of wines sold internationally and come in a variety of flavors and qualities. Sparkling wines, such as champagne, are usually served during a celebration, such as a wedding. Fortified wines are stronger and longer lasting wines. Some of these wines include: brandy, sherry, port and madeira. Fortified wines can be either dry or sweet. Fortified wines that are sweet are generally served with a dessert, while fortified wines that are on the drier side are served as an after dinner drink. Aromatized Wines are flavored wines. These wines are generally flavored with herbs, spices or seeds. Aromatized wines are served usually before dinner or as a cocktail.  |
