Three NA-beers
Written: Dec 27 '00
Pros:Do not affect mental processes. (Have to find another excuse)
Cons:Same as "pros" - depends on occasion...
I am so lucky to live in Europe. We have access to hundreds of different kinds of beer so the voyage through beer-universe is very long, almost eternal. And sometimes you reach the stars...
There are many good reasons why one should enjoy beer with alcohol on the right occasions, but there may be even more good reasons to keeping alcohol out of one´s system at other times. The list is long, but let´s just mention driving or work as two good examples on when NOT to use alcohol.
Not that many years ago it was very difficult to find a non-alcohol beer that tasted like beer but that has changed. It is well worth the effort to try the different kinds, and I´m sure that anyone can find a N.A.-beer that he or she likes.
I´ll keep it down to mentioning three types that are available here in Europe (I live in Denmark), and that I find very good.
Tuborg Superlight. Tastes like a normal "Pilsner-type" but with a slightly bitter after-taste.
Faxe Free. You can hardly tell the difference between this one and their regular beer. Rather rich in taste.
Whoever has had the chance to watch german TV will know this slogan: "Nicht immer! Aber immer öfter!" (Not always, but more and more often).
That´s Clausthaler wich in my opinion is one of the best of it´s kind.
So, why not just go out there and try some?
