I was not a true beer drinker until Woodpecker Cider Beer. I was at a Bar and Grill and there were these people that were doing an in store beer promotion. They had on red shirts with a cute woodpecker on the front. Being that this was not a beer of common knowledge, they were being ignored. I wanted a beer but I was not willing to spend money on something I possibly wouldn't finish drinking. One of the young ladies came over with a Yard glass (the glasses that are long in the middle and flared at the top and bottom) with a little ceramic woodpecker attached around the glass. She presented an offer that could not refuse. She offered that expensive looking collectable glass full of beer for $2.00 and if I did not like the beer she would refund my money and let me keep the glass and tee shirt. I had nothing to lose so I tried it. That was the best tasting drink I had ever tried. I have been hooked every since.
This beer is an apple cider. But this taste is different from the apple cider that mom gives when you have a cold or if you're cold. It does not have that beer after taste. It is smooth and refreshing. I recommend this for everyone but especially if you are and non-alcoholic beer drinker or a light beer drinker. This beer goes well with hotdogs or steaks. This beer can sometimes be purchased at the larger chain of supermarkets or package stores that sell imported beers and exquisite beers.
