| woodyc's Full Review: Screwpull Lever |
I love drinking good wine. Often this could be a relatively old bottle of Cabernet, or Merlot, and often the problem is in removing a wet or very soft cork. Too many times I have seen the cork get pushed into the bottle. I have also seen a bottle give before the cork would come out (cracked right under the waiter's corkscrew). Well, the solution is here - the leverpull!
The non-stick corkscrew and the simple and even pressure to insert and remove a corkscrew will make the most stubborn corks come out with ease. I purchased this corkscrew over 2 years ago, and it still amazes me how well it works. They now have several different models to choose from.
If you can find a Le Crueset outlet in your area, check them out. They will often carry blemished models without the box for about $50 apiece. A true steal. The only word or warning, better get several bottles of wine to drink ready when you get one of these. You will want to open several bottles at once because the fun of opening a bottle with this opener is addicting.
