Pros: You get free stuff with every purchase! Cons: High APR
I'm no Martha Stewart but I do admit to loving LL Bean. I like to see my husband dressed in those handsome sweaters that look like we've just come in from clamming and no one has better monogrammable bags. This makes the marriage between MBNA and LL...
Pros: free Shipping and Monogramming Cons: rewards not as much as other cc's
Ok, ok I will admit to anyone that I am very, very cautious when it comes to spending my mulah. What the heck, I'm cheap and I know it! However, I do like to have products which are good quality. So, I am always striving to get my bargains without ...
Pros: Quality Customer Service, Free LL Bean Shipping, LL Bean Points Cons: Relatively High Interest Rate If You Don't Pay In Full
I admit it. I'm one of those stereotypical New Englanders who pretty much worships at the altar of L.L. Bean. Yes, I like their clothes. Yes, I know that I really don't fit in on the streets of L.A. No, I really don't care.
Pros: Smooth rebate procedure. Cons: Return reduced from 1% to .5%.
When the LL Bean Visa card was first introduced, it offered a very respectable deal. At that time, if offered a 1% rebate on all purchases, and a higher rebate on LL Bean purchases. I am sure that a lot of customers were lured in by this offer. I, for...
Pros: good if you like LL Bean Cons: not good if you dont like LL Bean, high interest rate
I have been using the MBNA LL Bean Visa card for about two years now. I have earned quite a few $10 LL Bean gift certificates, which for sure is nice, but this is not the best credit card rewards program available, unless you like to spend a lot of...
Pros: free shipping, points towards free merchandise, free mug w/sign-up! Cons: points don't add up as fast as they used to!
L.L. Bean has always been one of my favorite stores...every August my family would trek to Kittery, Maine and all of us kiddies would be outfitted in the trendiest flannel around. A few years ago when I was in the store I saw some great free plastic LL...
Pros: Intelligent service; Good web site; Free L.L Bean shipping; No fee Cons: Sometimes a long hold to reach live reps; Not the lowest APR
It is always refreshing to call MBNA. Unlike many other customer service representatives, MBNA's employees sound as if they actually finished high school and probably college as well. With very few exceptions, they are personable and competent. Clearly,...
Pros: I get LL Bean merchandise for buying what I already need Cons: You don't want to carry the debt
I have a Visa card and an American Express card. I know I need credit cards for various things in life - but think that I should get the best possible deal for myself while using these cards. Today I want to tell you about the MBNA LL Bean Visa card....
Pros: Free LL Bean shipping, 3% back on LL Bean purchases Cons: Only 0.5% back on other purchases
The MBNA L.L. Bean Visa Card gives you 3% back on L.L. Bean purchases and 0.5% back on all other purchases. This money back comes in the form of $10 L.L. Bean certificates.
The part that actually might make this card worthwhile is that it...
Pros: Free shipping and free embroidery. Cons: Make a late payment and they aren't sympathetic about charging a late fee.
I love this Visa card. If you like to shop at LL Bean, you will too! You get all of your purchases shipped free of charge, which is great when you just want one thing every now and then. You don't have to stress about combining your order to save on ...
Pros: Free S&H, Free Monogramming Cons: .05% back on purchases other than LL Bean products
I have had my LL Bean Visa for a number of years and love it. The card doesn't give you a lot of points on purchases other than LL Bean (.5), but it does give you free shipping and handling and free monograming. The LL Bean Visa gives 3% back on their...
Pros: Easy to get accepted Cons: Default APR 29.49%, increases APR for no reason if you are near credit line limit
L.L.Bean Visa (MBNA America) is one of the worst credit card companies out there. The following is my personal experience with L.L.Bean Visa (MBNA America), and hopefully, this review will help to save someone else the same horrible nightmare that ...
Pros: Free shipping & monogramming
Reward dollars Cons: Charged Interest even if balance due paid in full!

LL BEAN DUMPS BANK OF AMERICA CARD by customer18 ,May 20 '08
Pros: LL Bean free shipping and coupons were great on their Bank of America Visa card. Cons: Bank of America is horrible. Bean's is well rid of them
Bank of America just sent me a letter saying that after June 30, 2008, there is no more LL Bean affiliated B of A card and would I like a B of A card? No thanks. I pay every month in full, but they still try to trap you by roving payments dates, so you'll be late and get charged a fee. I called LL Beans last year to complain, and they said they were trying to work things out with B of A. Apparently, they could not. Good old Bean's has the best customer service of anybody, so why should they risk their good name with the sleazebags at Bank of America? When did banks become the highways robbers? Where's the customer service? I'll find some other card. End of rant.
