Pros: We were very pleased that refinancing took so little time and with very little effort. Cons: However I am bothered that Quicken had sold our mortgage to Chase immediately.
We were very pleased that refinancing our home took so little time and with very little effort. The closing went well and quickly also. It was nice to be able to close in our own kitchen too. Our Loan Officer was knowledgable and very helpful as ...

Pros: Very quick-17 days from 1st contact to closing. Easy documentation-friendly people Cons: Nothing bad happened to me.
Despite an other company's mortgage broker telling me that Quicken was the joke of the industry, I had an excellent experience. It all went pretty much as my loan guy said it would, with the exception that the Notary who came to my house to get our ...

Pros: All the information was gathered and processed quickly and efficiently. Cons: The loan agent was rather aggressive at first, until I commited to his company.
I recently completed a refinance of my mortgage through Quicken Loan. It was all done via the internet and email. It was a great experience and I would recommend this company to others who are looking for a refinance. I did have other loan companies call ...

Pros: Wonderful customer service experience. Prompt service, especially during this time of rampant remortgaging. Cons: Really none. Great Experience!!!
I found quicken loans after filling out a form on a generic website, and 3 or 4 companies called me. They asked me some questions and said I seemed to meet the qualifications to continue if I was interested. I started the process, and they ...

Pros: Convient and processed quickly. No running around to sign papers Cons: I had to mail an overage check to The Title Source Company.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Good communication. Very eager to help us with the process. Cons: The process is dreadful. You can't avoid that but, financially, it's definitely worth it.
We were looking to refinance and had two terrible experiences with two other companies. It completely turned us off to the idea of refinancing, even though big savings were involved. Quicken did not present any of the obstacles and hidden fees the other ...

Pros: Friendly, helpful, up-front, flexible, professional and just great people to deal with. Cons: None.
Where to start? I decided to use Quicken as I had heard about the nightmares people were experiencing with home loan approvals with banks. From the get-go, I was introduced to Lee Burnstein, who was quite simply fantastic. I live overseas, ...

Pros: Very responsive. Excellent web site with easy access to my loan portfolio. Cons: I honestly can't think on any "cons" to report.
Due to the recession and housing market woes, the media had been reporting that mortgage refinance loans were hard to get. I had some credit card debt and a second mortgage that was at 7%, so a consolidation loan was needed. I saw that the loan ...

Pros: The loan transaction was handled professionally by the VP. Cons: The initial high pressure salesman with mercenary ethics.
Initially my wife and I had a bad experience with a high pressure salesman using guilt and misinformation to push through a package with unacceptably high closing costs and small bottom line savings. As an example, the salesman tried to convince us that ...
