Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Good communication. Very eager to help us with the process. Cons: The process is dreadful. You can't avoid that but, financially, it's definitely worth it.
We were looking to refinance and had two terrible experiences with two other companies. It completely turned us off to the idea of refinancing, even though big savings were involved. Quicken did not present any of the obstacles and hidden fees the other ...

Pros: Fast, great rates, online submissions, accessible loan officer, continuous point of contact through the process Cons: No face-to-face contact
We did a fair amount of rating shopping when we were looking for a home loan on our new house. We knew that we would be pushing well into the jumbo range given the cost of the house, but we thought we could get by with just 20% down and not 25% or ...

Pros: Quick with the paper work turnaround Nice to close in my own home Cons: Was difficult to get a hold of people at times to answer questions.
Using the Quicken Loans online system was so much simpler than when we first purchased the house we are in now. Being able to sign everything online was so simple and made the refinance much simpler with mine and my wife's busy schedules. Also being able ...

Pros: Conveniently scheduled closing to be in our home. Cons: Additional documents needed to be signed after closing, but the notary came to us again.

Pros: CRAZY efficient. These guys really know what they're doing. Cons: A little too hard-sell on the phone. Almost put me off. Glad it didn't.
I was a little reluctant to try online refinancing, especially since a few on epinions people had written some not especially flattering things about it in general, and Quicken in particular. Most people did, however, feel otherwise, so I decided that I ...
