Quicken, and my team of Katie and Sarah, was fantastic.  From the excellent online tools to the great customer service, the process was seamless and simple.  I'd definitely go with Quicken again, and have already shared my positive experience with a number of friends, whom I hope will use Quicken as well.

Pros: Very Flexible in getting you the loan that fits your needs without a hassle.
Cons: Loan not serviced by Quicken it is sold off to investors or banks

Just finished closing my loan with Quicken Loans and it was the simplest and most hassle free experience i have ever had on a home loan. From beginning to end the entire staff kept me up to date on the progress and additional documents needed to complete the whole process. There were daily updates as we progressed to the closing. I was also assigned a closing specialist to make sure everytihing that was done i understoond. Their website for my loan was available for updates 24-7. The rate was exactly what i wanted and we close very quickly. Wonderful experience.

Pros: I liked the follow up to make sure I understand everything.
Cons: The only issue I ran into was being asked for the same documents several times.

As an employee of Quicken Loans I love the benefit of being able to refinance my home through the same place that provides the bread and butter for that very home. I have had some credit struggles in the past and do not have the highest FICO score or loads of money on the bank, so I needed a loan that could consider these factors but not force me into a payment I could not afford. My mortgage banker listened to my concerns about being in another adjustable mortgage and concerns about my payment changing, and what about my value... She was very patient and offered several suggestions and allowed me to choose what option worked best for my situation. Even though I did not have the best credit and tons of reserves I still had multiple product options available to me which I was impressed with.I enjoyed my experience and do recommend Quicken Loans to all my family and friends.

Pros: We were impressed with the amount of time that was invested to get loan completed.
Cons: Can't think of anything that could have been done better.

Our refinance started off really great and looked as though everything would be wrapped up in just a few weeks. However, it was discovered that a previous loan was still showing to have a property lien despite documentation that the loan had been paid off. As a result, our refinance was stuck until this could be cleared up. The loan officers at Quicken worked tirelessly to get the release of lien from my previous loan. It took lots of follow up phone calls and endless faxing, but in the end it got done.

Pros: Professional, courteous service with NO surprises.
Cons: We cannot think of a single "con" to report from our Quicken Loans experience.

Our Quicken Loans refinance was everything we were promised. The process was quick and easy. We kept waiting for repreated or extra requests for information, but they never did! We also anticipated that the interest rate or closing date would change. Again, never happened! Before we could really start to worry about anything, we were called for a closing appointment. The appointment took place on the date and at the time promised. The loan package came directly to us and the Notary knew exactly what to do when she arrived. We would highly recommend Quicken Loans to anyone who is looking for a new mortgage. 

Pros: Fast, easy and great service! Low closing costs and incredible programs!
Cons: NONE!!!! I cant complain about a single thing, this was a great experience.

I am very pleased that I had the pleasure of doing my mortgage with QuickenLoans. From Start to finish, everything went BETTER than I had expected. They got back to me within an hour with choices of programs to find one that best suited me. My mortgage expert informed me on everything I should know to help me make a decision. After I began the mortgage process, I got updates throughout the entire process from the team i was working with. I was always informed of everything that was happening with my loan. It made me feel at ease to know things were going well and I didnt even have to worry about the financing and I could focus on things needed for my new home. Closing went smooth, and things turned out even better than expected!!! It was painless and easy! I was excited to be able to do this on my own. I am so glad that I came to Quicken for my loan, I couldnt have asked for anything better with my mortgage experience. I will go to Quicken for EVERY home financing need I have from now on!

Pros: PROFESSIONAL, RESPONSIVE, KNOWLEDGEABLE 
Cons: Unexpected call from credit check service.   This was resolved by loan officer.

We very much appreciate the service and advice received from Abe Srour.  We had just previously attempted a re-fi at Lending Tree and the experience was text book terrible.  Misinformation, miscommunication, misleading and lies.  You get the idea.
Abe was sensitive to the above situation and stayed with us step-by-step.  He is a real professional.  It's clear that Quicken Loans is a well run company.  I doubt that we were an exception to the rule.  Successful businesses don't "just happen".  As a footnote, the entire Quicken process took about half the time as Lending Tree and ended successfully.
I know this was a team effort, so compliments also to Dawn Taylor and the people who handled the closing.

My experience with Quicken Loans was terrific! Everyone I came in contact with was such a pleasure to work with and made things easy to understand.

Our process started when my husband and I decided to refinance. My husband already had a few ideas of what he wanted to do, so when we contacted Joe at Quicken Loans, he gave us our options and off we went! Joe was great to work with. Whenever we had a question, he was there. It was also great that he responded to our questions by both phone and email. It was very convenient.

It was also nice that we were notified where our loan was in the process at all times. We could view our loan status online and I also received emails notifying me of the status.

At the closing, I simply took all of the paperwork home to sign and then brought it back the next day, where it was thoroughly checked over.

And that's it! It was that easy! Working with Quicken Loans was an absolute pleasure! :)

Pros: I liked the convenience of applying online.
Cons: Quicken Loans will quote one rate and discount fee and charge a higher rate.  

Quicken loans and Rock Financial quoted me a rate and Loan Discount fee on the phone and then DOUBLED the Loan Discount Fee on the closing statement.
I lost my $500 deposit rather than pay an additonal $1,200 in Loan Discount fees.

A COSTLY LESSON!!!!!!!!

My wife and I used Quicken Loans to finance our first home. It was an interesting experience.  It is hard to compare to other first home purchases since we have not been in this situation before.  Our realtor advised us that Quicken Loans has historically been very difficult to deal with.

Pros: Fast, easy, best deal, easy to speak with, everything else.
Cons: none

My experience was great, Brandon explained everything I asked him to and delivered on his word.  I almost went with a broker! I was so confused with refinanceing and I couldn't be happier with how the process went and was explained- they came to my work to close the documents and they did it online too! Highly recommend!

After 3 months of dealing with a lender who was unable to accomplish anything he said he could, we started looking for another lender.  We were contacted by Eric Cullen at Quicken Loans and he began working with us to refinance our home. Because of our prior experience, we were a bit skeptical at first because things seemed to be going a little too easy. But from start to finish (about 3 weeks) we were given step-by-step instructions and everything happen exactly as we were told.  Eric and all those we worked with at Quicken Loans were extrememly helpful, courteous and professional!  We would work with any of them again and recommend them to all!

Cons: 1) The rep from the title agency forgot to obtain a few signatures

My husband had heard about Quicken Loans through our use of Quick Books Accounting Software. My first contact with Quicken Loans was a positive experience. The representative was able to quickly and accurately gather my information and quote me on an interest rate. They followed up with me regularly. The online process was smooth and efficient. The web interface was user friendly. The closing was convenient and scheduled at my home at my convenience. The reps from Quicke were knowledgeable and professional. Pros:

1) The rep from the title agency forgot to obtain a few signatures so we needed to complete some additional paperwork after the fact but it wasn't a terrible inconvenience

I was in the market for a 30 year fixed mortgage with the idea of saving money on interest, who isn't.  After talking with my banker Kent Wenzel he asked if he could make a professional suggestion.  He pointed out that I seem to refinance every 4 years and wondered if anyone ever explained the finacial benefits of a 5 year ARM.  Personally, I never considered it because of all the bad press you hear which I quickly found out was not the case with a Quicken Loan.  We locked my rate in at 3.99% for 5 years at very low cost while keeping my HELOC open.  After the 5 years we are going to then refinance the 2 together while keeping pmi off my loan!  If only I knew this the last 3 times I refinanced I hate to imagine how much money I could have saved.  Thanks Kent for the expert advice you have a client for life!

Overall, I had a great experience.  The people were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.  There were problems whatsoever, which I was pleasantly surprised with, especially considering all of the problems there were with my previous loan.
