| cj244's Full Review: Motley Fool |
I first found out the Motley Fool through a book I found at a library written by the co-founders - the Gardner brothers. After reading the book I became more interested in the market and started listening to their radio show and I absolutely loved their rational, colorful commentary. They have consistently provided good advice to novice investors and easy to understand information for people who don't understand the market but want to make more money. Even for more experienced investors their are great news stories about the companies and issues which we care about.
Everyday I go to the Motley Fool website to read about news stories, follow their model portfolios including the lovable Rule-Breaker and the Fool 50. At fool.com (great name) I have expanded my knowledge exponentially about current issues, new companies, new trends, etc. Here not only can you get information on stocks, you can find out about all things having to do with finance: retirement, debt, taxes, and more. As time goes by, they create new features and add a plethora of content which makes this site so dynamic. I love it!! I could write forever on how good this site is, but that would be boring to you and not in the Fool's style. They write in a colorful, informative manner without losing you at all. They tell you what you want to know in easy to understand manner.
Finally, personally I have used the Fool now for over 4 years and my only wish was that I knew about them a little bit earlier. They have so much information on all things financial, that we all want to or in some cases need to know about. I recommend to this to everyone, especially younger kids (like me when I started) so you can learn at the Fool School, learn strategies, and then move on in your learning to other places. But, although I use different philosophies then the Fool does for some of my investments, I still read their news, think about their commentary and analysis, and use their wonderful services because they have never let me down. If you're like me you can spend hours and hours here! Please check out this site, you will be rewarded, believe me!
