| chrissymat's Full Review: SmartMoney |
This is the best little financial website around, with an array of interesting articles and features on finance. It is presented in a professional manner, and it provides the user with a great idea of how the overall market is fluctuating at all times.
Smart Money is a great tool for the experienced investor. It is also wonderful for the investor that is trying to get a clue. The presentation on this site is well-written, and it may take the novice a few times to read the content in order for it to register, but it is well-worth the effort.
This site takes you seriously as an investor. It treats you like you are a knowledgeable player in the stock market and not a dummy like some of those women's financial websites that I have rated.
As you may know, Smart Money is also a printed publication. There's not a huge amount of overlap between the two I have found so it's beneficial to follow both media.
I would recommend this to anyone who is seriously interested in the stock market and the economy in general. It is not too technical, but I tend to take notes.
There are some recommendations, which I would sometimes take with a grain of salt. Investing is something that should be left up to the individual, and you need to make your own decisions, not let a website do it for you. But it is useful to see what Smart Money thinks and follow their reasoning, and then figure out if it works for you.
This site also rates online brokers and has a daily broker meter that shows how quickly your broker's website loads.
