Online banking, worth a try!Oct 22 '00 Write an essay on this topic.I have recently started to bank online using www.halifax-online.co.uk. I live in the UK so it probably wont help many of you if I write about the specifics of this bank, however I can talk about the principal. So far I have been very happy by using the internet to organise my money, it is very quick and easy, I can organise my cash 24/7 which is very useful especially as the banks in the UK close at midday on Saturday. My bank offers to pay the user back any money that is stolen from the account by hacking or other fraudulent behaviour. The interest rates are very good online, much higher than in traditional banks, and I can even go into the traditional bank to organise my money. I have total freedom by using the net. I have a cash card so I have instant access to my money from anywhere in the country - overall I think the system is safe and excellent. I would recommend it to anyone who has a busy lifestyle and not much time to go to the bank.  |
