| ljhargis's Full Review: Motley Fool School |
The Motley Fool is probably the most up-to-date and helpful financial/investing site on the net. I will tell you that I did not know that much about investing outside of my 401K plan. I needed help that was not only fast, but also trustworthy.
I joined several newsletters with The Motley Fool and all of them have been very helpful as well as up-to-date. I also took their advice and bought a book they recommended, "The Motley Fool Investment Guide," which has been well worth the money I paid for it.
The Motley Fool School is especially helpful as it does not speak above your head in financial language that only brokers or investing gurus can understand. They also explain certain terms and concepts in more than one way.
If you are considering on whether or not to become a member of this site, I would advise you to go ahead and enjoy the many many benefits that this site offers.
The only disadvantage I can think of is if you post to a board, you might get a lot of different advice from several different people, which may make you get confused on who's advice to follow.
