Read testimonials of financial ruin for yourself. Type into your search engine "countrywide sucks" and "predatory lenders" and read for yourself. Good people don't recommend CON-trywide to friends unless they are unaware of the dangers. Please spread the word so that more lives are not destroyed by CON-trywide, the country's worst mortgage lender in the history of America!!!! They especially target Veteran's to screw over because they get full reimbursement from the US Government and do not care that they have ruined a veteran's life and family!!!!

I think they were delaying your payments (Reply to this comment)

If you sent your payments to a Texas address, I don't think it's ok for Countrywide to credit them to your account only after they reach California --especially if the delay caused by the extra leg of transit causes a payment to be late.
Although they gave you the California address, I don't believe you should give them too much credit for this, because the way your payments were handled just doesn't sound right to me.
