It's hard to compare Smartmoney.com to other financial websites, because there's so much going on on this site. The tools are top-notch -- who can resist the Map of the Market? Revolutionary! And if there's a better way to track my portfolio, I'd like to hear about it. Plus, the news coverage and analysis is unrelenting. They've really beefed up their realtime reporting. Then there's Paul R. La Monica, a prolific prognosticator and pundit. Is there anything that guy doesn't have an opinion about? I loved him at the American Banker, but he's really stepped it up at Sm.com. Keeps me coming back for more.
