I am not an expert on this site. It seems to have much more information and many more services than I will ever need. I do like it for one reason. You can look up the selling price of houses in any neighborhood in the U.S. that they cover. There are certain states that they don't include yet, but most of the ones I am interested are included.
After you get to the site, you can search under "home sales". You enter an address, and the number of miles from the address that you are interested in, and the time period of closings, and it will give you a list of addresses and selling prices for all real estate which applies.
I have often heard that "you can get any information you want on the internet," but unless you know how, it can be very frustrating to try to figure out. Here is one useful tool that may be of interest to many people.
This is certainly a useful tool if you are buying, selling, or just curious.
