Accelerated Depreciation is a way of deducting the cost of durable business property over time, faster than straight line depreciation. It still has nothing to do with accounting principles.... read full review

Use accelerated depreciation for larger deductions in earlier years, but smaller deductions in later years. Straight line is more conservative, but not reflective of typical property value decline.... read full review
