Hexcite is a unique new puzzle game that Ubi Soft wisely snatched up from NEC in Japan. Coming out of an era when the puzzle genre has been dominated by Tetris re-inventions or clones, this geometrical brain buster is surprisingly fresh. Hexcite requires players to strategically place geometrical pieces on hexagonal boards, with seven different shapes to manipulate. The pieces can be rotated any way the player chooses, but must be placed with at least one side touching another piece. The more sides of the piece that are touching other pieces, the greater number of points that are rewarded. |
